Day 2 of our daily cross country jog/walk. Remember we only get one body so it's time to take care of it. I encourage you to ask your parents to take you to Whole Foods Market and buy plenty of organic fruits and vegetables and organic, grass fed meats to nourish your body. If all goes well we will play Pickleball towards the end of the period. Later
Make sure to click on the "Fitness Gram Testing" button and scroll down to print out the International Walk To School Day Extra Credit handout. They are due on Monday, December 1 to your PE teacher. Let's try and clear out the Sierra Vista parking lot and improve our fitness and health at the same time.

Pickleball Final 4 schedule has posted. Games continue Monday and the staff vs.student game is on Tuesday with sign-ups on Monday.

"Sugar" Sugar is a non food, depleted of vitamins and minerals, takes more nutrients from your body then it delivers.
-in processing all fiber, protein, and minerals(which compromise almost 90% of the plant itself) are removed

In class this week we will learn why sugar is ruining peoples health and vitality and some alternatives to sugar that you can try that are tasty and good for you.

Dr. Price circled the world and found that groups that followed their traditional nature based diets enjoyed good health and vigor, and those that turned to the civilized diet(that's what we eat people) of processed, sugar laden foods soon developed a variety of ills. It's a must read.
